I have run across a ton of companies that are looking for help. Two of them in particular seem very interesting to me. If you are interested them, please let me know.
HubSpot
HubSpot is looking for one more A+ developer. We're mostly looking for folks who are passionate and drop dead smart, but experience with C#/ASP.NET would be nice, too.
QuantofficeQuantOffice was founded by my good friend Ilya Gorelik who was CTO at PTC while I was there in the late '90's. Ilya has built an awesome application framework for financial institutions and hedge funds to import public market data, create custom research databases, build market-beating algorithms, back-test the algorithms with the data, and produce charts. The software behind this application is very modern which makes this process much faster than using traditional approaches. I have showed it to colleagues at some big banks who are actively evaluating it and two major hedge funds have purchased it.
Quantoffice needs some marketing and/or sales talent that "gets" this industry inside and out to help Ilya create and execute a winning strategy. If you worked at Thompson, Reuters, or another interesting company in this space and are interested in building something, please let us know.
